a month agoMy fish was put in HOT in a styrofoam! Needless to say the styrofoam melted in spots. Oh and take a look at the “Onion Rings” Yes! That’s what I was served!!

2 months agoFood was fresh. Prices were decent. We bought fish and fries and clams. Clams were great! Fish was very bland but otherwise fresh. Would probably be good for someone who doesn’t like seasoned food.

Edited 5 months agoWas pretty disappointed this visit, I have been eating Thimmes fish sandwiches for over 40-years and when you know how they taste and then something changes it's really obvious. The fish sandwiches had no flavor at all. 2 sandwiches 1 french fry and 1 can of pop was $17.39 .. i would be ok with that if the fish sandwich tasted like it once did. Not sure what you have changed but you changed something. Also, you need to turn the heat up some as it was very cold in the restaurant, we had an older couple next to us that kept their winter coats on they were so cold. I hope if you changed your fish, coating, buns or whatever that you go back to how it was before. Don't follow the trend of some places that raise prices but buy cheaper ingredients, it never goes over well with long time customers. Service was friendly as always, no complaints there!

7 months agoHighly recommend!!! The fish was delicious and tasted so fresh!! The cost is reasonable. The gentleman who took our order and served us is amazingly kind and polite! Child-friendly, parking is free, and great people to support! If I lived in the area, I'd go here more often! ><>

10 months agoGood clams, better than most. Even better fish. Small fillets but perfectly cooked with a light, crisp batter. Well worth a trip.

11 months agoThe owner was nice enough. Place was clean. All I ordered was two pieces of fish. It did not take long to get my order. But when I got home and opened up the bag and saw the fish. Wow was it small. The fish was cooked well enough but the batter was flavorless. I can’t say anything to the service, I didn’t eat in. I don’t think I’ll be back.

a year agoWe were driving through Lancaster and realized we’ve never actually dined here before. Deep fried Oysters, fish and shrimp. All 3 were delicious! I believe it was a father and son that were there and they guided us through the menu. Prices are incredible. I’d definitely come back. What a gem! I highly recommend.

2 years agoIt doesn’t look like much. It may come on a paper plate but it’s the best, lightest white fish you ever had. I always make sure I stop y whenever I get back to Lancaster
